Cactus Greeting Card, Hidden Image

$6.00

Description

A simple yet meaningful “hello” encapsulates a warm and friendly salutation that sets the stage for heartfelt connections. At first glance, the front of the card showcases a charming pattern of various cacti nestled in terracotta pots. As the beholder gazes at the image, an extraordinary transformation takes place. When viewed with a certain technique, a 3D image of a magnificent cactus emerges before their very eyes.

Each card is printed locally in Portland, OR and has helpful instructions on the back.

5.5 x 4.25 (A-2) card with white envelope
FRONT: Pattern of cacti in pots with “hello” in top right corner.
INSIDE: Blank for your own message.
BACK: Hidden image revealed and directions for viewing.

HOW TO VIEW:

PARALLEL | Look through the image until your eyes blur and then slowly refocus to see the hidden image. You can also start with the card close to your face and slowly pull it away.

CROSS EYED | Relax and cross your eyes. Or put a finger to your nose and look at it. With the image close to you, slowly draw that finger from your nose towards the image. Cross eyed viewing is easier for some folks, however this design is made for parallel viewing. That means the hidden image will sink into the background, rather than pop out.

Viewing stereograms take practice. Have patience with yourself if you don’t see the hidden image on your first try.

Folks with vision impairment, like blindness, astigmatism, or lazy eye, might not experience the hidden image as the illusion relies on depth perception.

A FEW NOTES:

Because of the way stereograms are created, it creates minor disturbances in the pattern. These are not mistakes. This is how the hidden image is viewable.

Watermark will not be printed on the card.

Due to screen differences, actual colors may vary slightly from what appears online.
